We’re so happy to share some new videos that we filmed recently at Graffiti Pier in Philadelphia. We recorded them to submit to the FreshGrass Awards band contest, which recognizes emerging bluegrass bands. We think they came out great, thanks to the talented Koofreh Umoren and Michelle Goodwin (of the @rtrsessions).
Graffiti Pier is a former coal pier along the Delaware River that has been transformed into a showcase for graffiti art. We thought it would be a perfect backdrop for these videos, as we look to represent the growing Philly bluegrass scene on a national stage. (Thanks to Hannah Taylor for suggesting the location!)
