We had a such great time on the road these past ten days! One of the many highlights was our two-night stay in Greensboro, PA, a historic town in Western Pennsylvania that made an ideal home base for our shows in Morgantown, WV and Pittsburgh, PA. We were generously hosted there by Keith and Shane McManus of the Greensboro, Pennsylvania Art Cooperative.

We’d planned to keep an eye out for a place to film a video for NPR‘s annual Tiny Desk Contest series while we were on the road. Keith’s antiques shop, housed on the lower floor of the historic Davis Theater, was an obvious choice.

As stipulated by the Tiny Desk Contest rules, we filmed these two videos in front of a tiny desk, housed within the vintage phone booth in the rear of the scene (which is the future home of the World’s Smallest Museum, one of the Art Cooperative’s many upcoming projects). You may also notice an antique soda shop counter (still functioning) buffalo head (non-functioning), and an array of instruments (both functioning and non). The old hardwood floors and tin ceiling created such a cool sound on these recordings.

Thank you, Keith and Shane, for a memorable visit. We can’t wait to come back.
